Revoscan 5.4.6.951 bug

So does anyone have a bug with their latest and greatest update - after installing and doing a scan, upon finishing it, there’s nothing showing in the mainscreen, everything looks like it works but the main screen where the scanning happens is blank, and no points can be captured - until restart of software - after the second update, same problem - also no idea what has been updated, I’d rather go back to the version that worked fine… where can I download that?

There is still a bug , and the bug is for some time now , especially when resuming scanning or starting second scan . There are no previous versions available so you have to wait for a new update that will fixing it .

Using older versions can cause more bad than good in this case so I recommend to wait for the bug fixes.

I just got a mini 2 and downloaded the latest software. I have the same problem, the main screen stays black with no preview. When I start the scan it still stays black and says there is not enough features for the point cloud, or something like that…… I have tried it on two different computers with plenty of gpu power, and still the same thing. Is anyone else having these problems with the new software?

This looks more like a hardware issue. Are you using Windows? If so, please help troubleshoot by following the steps below.

Please help me get 42 images to do the final confirmation.
Please follow the steps below, for Windows OS only:

Please download and unzip the folder get_image.zip to your computer.

Do not open the software. Plug in the scanner to your computer and wait until the green light turns on. Do not open the software, then, point the scanner at a white wall or any white object.
Open folder get_image, double-click on the get_image.bat file and wait patiently for 5 minutes. 42 images will be generated automatically in the folder get_image.
Please pack and send me these 42 images.

Sorry for the long delay in responding. I received the message, but was unable to do what you requested until now. I have done the images using the get_image file that you sent to me and I am sending them to you now.

Except how do I upload the 42 images to you???

Zip it and use Google drive or ant free hosting service , you can also PM @Revopoint-Jane and send the images via the PM message ( 5 at a time )

Hi there,
I am writing about a follow up to a problem with the Revopoint mini. I was told to download a program and use it to take a series of images with the scanner, and then send it back to them, which I did about 3 weeks ago. I have heard nothing back from them since about this issue. I need to know what to do about this… whether it can be fixed on my end or whether I have to send it back to be replaced. Can you please respond this for me? Thank you

Revopoint was on national Holidays for one week , but everyone is back in office again
