Got my Trackit a few weeks ago and have used it since then mainly for smaller scans for the sake of getting used to it and designed a few accessories for it (including an extension cable). The accessories you can find here: PrintedForFun | Printables.com
This week I finally took the Trackit to the shop and started scanning cars. Today I started with an Opel Astra K and a trailer (needed to design a higher side wall). A limiting factor for scanning today was the ambient temperature in the shop/its garage. I made the mistake of storing the scanner over night at 8°C so it took quite a while after powering up to reach 20°C (tracker wasn’t able to reach it at all since the cooling fan seems to miss adaptive control @Revopoint : will a future software update address this issue? Like a preheat mode where fans control is used to efficiently reach operating temperature.
