Revopoint Trackit Testing and Scan Examples

I recently tested the Revopoint Trackit, an optical tracking 3D scanner. I scanned various objects, including RC model boats, classic car parts, and even furniture, to evaluate how it performs across different modes like marker-free scanning and multi-position workflows.

The scanner is portable (though a bit heavy) and brings some impressive features like auto-calibration and high volumetric accuracy. What stood out for me was how well the scan-to-print workflow handled real-world projects, especially when I could go straight to OrcaSlicer without using extra cleanup software.

For a detailed look at the device, its accessories, setup process, and scan results, check out the full review. I’ve included plenty of original photos and scan previews to give a clear idea of what this scanner can do.

Hi, thank you for the review. Does the Trackit work in Daylight (sunlight ) ?

Hi sir, we don’t recommend to use it under sunlight, it might affect the scan results.

Hi Mike , daylight is ok but direct sunlight not recommended, it can interfere with the tracker. As long you keep it in shade, it will works fine .
