In my experience, this sofware version handles merging and texturing better then the previous ones. Especially the “seamlines” when merging two point clouds are gone or much less visible. The texture now can even out different scanning angles better.
But I came across another issue I never noticed before: Metrox lost tracking two times in auto TT mode without noticing it, all frames stayed green. This ocucured when there was only one plane in the FOV, which mean the features on the item which were to track had all the same distance to the scanner.
Anyone made the same observations?
Yes, I have noticed this exact problem as well. Not sure if it is a problem specific to 5.6.7 though. I removed the affected frames in frame edit mode, but it takes time to do this so it may be quicker to rescan from a slightly different angle instead.

In my case, most of all raw frames were stichtched onto the same position, they didn’ t move in the given angle.
