In wich way you pass the model scanned from phone onto PC…
sometime I seen the phone

the last project have only the first Icon blu… I try to tap but nothing appens… what do you think it’s appen…
I have also made some test… for the part that is not scanned like vertical wall or certain part inside the scan… how do you solve the problem because I try to full the hole but revo put black area inside the scan

and also I can scan only without workin onto it and after at home make all the work???
what do you think…
let me know thanks

If you prefer to scan using Revo Scan on your phone and edit on your computer, there are two easy ways to move the files to your computer: 1) Export your PLY/OBJ/STL files to the cloud; 2) Save your PLY/OBJ/STL files to a flash drive connected to your USB port and move the flash drive.

If you are connecting your scanner to your phone via WiFi, remember that there are 3 different configurations and 2 of them require changing your phone’s WiFi setup to switch back and forth. I recommend Client mode (instructions here: https://forum.revopoint3d.com/t/pop2-wifi-host-not-working-after-a-few-uses-blue-light/19112/6 .

Looks very good. Was it an overcast day when you did your scans?

It’s afternoon about 17 but mountain cover the sun so the model was in shadow…

This evening I try a caritide that I have in home…

I think very well try… I must learn to scan in one time… for that I made 4-5 scan and after join into studio…
but when it’s 3d without rotating table is very difficolt…

Looking good @GMGB

No wonder you can scan when the mountain cover the radiation  , plus you are in Europe so the dusk and dawn are very long compared to only 20 min here in NYC

@GMGB I use USB stick and scan the model direct to it , then after I plug it to my computer and mesh it for maximum quality , phone don’t give you that level of details , you need to process the fused ply files and mesh it on computer using Revo Studio or Mesh mixer or CLoud Compare

That is the fastest way to move your files around .

P.S please post your showcase scans in one thread for now until KS Campaign ends .
Do not post your scans under other’s users showcase threads .

Another test of range that I made yesterday evening at home… without rotary box…
with my galaxy note 10 plus and range scanner
after sent with whatsup to my whatsup download into the PC and making the joint of all the scan…
with revostudio…

The result could be better, I just make a fast try, I must improve the ability to scan all in one time

Looking good @GMGB
If you have some errors you can try to fix it with overlapped points tool in Revo Studio before merging to remove the lose points .
Also Cloud Compare can clean it nicely with one click .
Always clean the fused point clouds from errors before merging , it would be easier than after merging .
However I know the scanning task of this statue was not an easy job .

Note:
Please keep your scan results in the same original thread until the end of the Range Campaign.
I moved this one here already .

Did you scan them during the day light?

Hi @MedievalKing you can only scan outdoors using Range on a really cloudy day, after sunset or before sunrise .

Not possible on a sunny day since the infrared light from the sun will mess up the IR projector pattern and the sensors will get confused .
