So I did some searching, but I can’t find anything about it, so here I go: As everyone that has this scanner knows there is a quick menu on the back of the scanner. One of the options available is switching between single line laser and crossline laser and different options like full screen. If I press the “M” button, the menu shows on my screen, I can switch between the options with the - & + button, yet when I confirm, nothing happens. This while scanning, post scanning, paused scanning. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong/forgetting something?
Yes. Also tried other combinations, short presses, long presses, but nothing seems to change anything. On the Revoscan 6 software there is also an option to assign a button on the scanner to a certain mode, be it scanning mode, full screen or brightness, but that also doesn’t do anything.
Its not that the buttons don’t work. If I press start, the scanning will start and pause accordingly. The menu will pop up, you can scroll through it, yet confirming wont do anything.
I can’t seem to edit my main post, so I’ll do it like this.
It seems it was an user error all along. Apparently you have to press the + / - buttons after confirming the mode in the quick menu to get actual changes.
Many thanks to support for looking into my issue and getting me a solution.
