Pop3D in Horizontal or Vertical position

Hi all,
Is there a difference between scanning with Pop3d in Horizontal or Vertical position? How is it better to place it?

It depends on what you are scanning. While scanning can be paused, allowing the object to be rotated for additional coverage, it is not always feasible (too big, too delicate, etc.).

So, rotating the POP can provide the same opportunity for improvement. Additionally, scanning straight edges is improved if the imaginary line between the POP’s sensors is parallel to the edges you want to capture.
