Hi all, need some help. I’m having trouble with my first scan. What am I doing wrong?
I tried other scan modes with no success. Constantly losses tracking even with the scanner on a tripod and the slowest setting on the turn table
My PC setup is Ultra 9 285K, 32 GB RAM, RTX 5060 Ti

Hi!
For scanning with laser lines you need markers and marker tracking mode. You chose marker tracking mode= correct! But you don’t have any markers on and/or around the object!

As Ivan stated already ( thanks @ivan ) you need markers around the object that allows you to fire the laser , without markers the laser will not fire , don’t use tripod when scanning using laser mode , you need to move steady the scanner back and forth across the surface to be able to proper capture to the surface with at least 10K frames , don’t blast the laser exposure to maximum , start from lower settings to avoid artifacts like lines or groves.
