Pop 4 not obtaining data

My pop 4 is not obtaining any data through the revo scan 6 software. Pop 4 is connected through cable.

Whatever mode I use. Preview works but software gets no scan…

You see a warning message in the left corner I can’t read what is saying.

Please follow the instruction , maybe the permission for camera is turned off under Camera privacy settings , if is ON and you get that message please contact customer@revopoint3d.com and make a screenshot using the software or click PRINT on your keyboard to capture clear screenshot of your software . It use Windows screen capture feature .

Remember that laser mode requires a markers to start collect data .

Its saying something about not able to optain the license. But I dont have WiFi or Ethernet (LAN) on my scanning PC.

That is real strange , I never saw anything like that before , there is not need for any license to run POP 4 or Internet connection . Please contact customer@revopoint3d.com

Do you use any other Revo software that use license ?

You do need to activate the software to use it.

I am unsure if internet is needed for that. However if they have a warning message. Possible they need internet to activate

Revo Metro? I never had this experiences yet and installed new version without Internet access on both my Windows tablet and laptop, as usually I have it shut down to avoid synchro with OneDrive that drives me crazy lately.

Not Metro but Revoscan 6. It was even talked about in the live stream the one time activation.

I must have missed the memo , or the installation over beta skipped it for some reason. But that is not good , most studios workstations don’t have Internet access for so many reason . That need to change.

I dont have WIFI nor LAN for different reasons. I just tried on a Mac book and I did work, so It must be a issue with the license on my PC.

Can’t a license be obtainted through a file? It is possible that way with Shining3D. Which I have 0 issues with.

It says to connect the scanner to get the license , well your scanner is connected and still not allows it to go through.

Please contact customer@revopoint3d.com to get proper help as it says on the screen since I can’t help you here with . You can use the link to this thread as reference .

Also include your scanner Serial number, they will activate it for you hopefully.
