Is my POP-4 DOA?

Hi there, I just got my POP-4 in the mail today.
I connected it to my PC using the USB-C port on my motherboard, and installed Revo Scan 6.2.2 on my Windows 10 PC.

When I run Revo Scan 6.2.2, it correctly detects the POP-4 and displays the serial number, but if I try to scan I am unable to capture data. Sometimes the previews will freeze, and sometimes Revo Scan will end up hanging completely requiring me to force close the program with task manager.

When I try to calibrate I get this error:

I’m going to reach out to support, but has anyone had any similar issues? Did I miss something simple and silly?
This is very disappointing for an item which is brand new out of the box.

I had a similar issue, and what resolved it was the thumb screw on the scanner side wasn’t tightened all the way. It was a tight fit the first time I connected it and felt like it was seated all the way when it was not, so the USB C cable was not all the way in. I tightened it up and all was well.
