hadn’t used my trackit in a few weeks, decided to update revotrack as I picked it up again yesterday, thinking surely there have been some improvements…
it was literally setup in the same position, untouched this whole time, so nothing has moved.
had horrible problems trying to scan anything, in any mode it was completely broken. this morning ran full calibration- that kept failing whenever I got to the scanner calibration where the board and scanner are on the table top- software was happy with position of my tabletop setup but after the countdown it would immediately fail saying ‘scanner accuracy check failed please recalibrate’ and it would just put me into an endless loop where I had to scan the white board again and then setup again and it would fail again. did that a few times, cussed a whole bunch, re-installed 5.7.2 (what I had last) and wouldn’t you know the scanner calibration works now and back to scanning as usual.
not sure what this new version was supposed to do but I think I’ll wait a while before I update revotrack again…
