I am not going to argue with you on that , Revo already answered this question in the public when we had conversation about that early in time .
Do you feel the SP’s accuracy is worth the extra money over the SE? I may or may not require an addtional scanner to quicky BUT accurately locate bolt holes in objects to reverse engineer. I’m going to try these center locating punches to see if they help with the scanning or measuring for a CAD model.
Let’s see about that new upcoming revopoint scanner. Might be what you are looking for? ![]()
I don’t want to upset Karens so I am quiet about that , I know about it since April … but not my place to share that info.
I wasn’t arguing but want to talk about what I’ve seen and understood as per my experience with both companies’ devices. Their projecting ways are even different. Oh, Really? Revopoint said Shining 3D uses their hardware? Would like to see that. I doubt it coz Shining 3D showed me that they have full ability to make scanners, from their EinScan-S or even earlier industrial scanners. Well, I happened to know some Chinese language and I search for revo’s chinese website, guess what, I saw a scanner looks very like Sense. so is there any chance that 3D systems bought it from Revo? ![]()
It is the same , Shining3D improved the software to use with the hardware .
Look this one too …
Same scans under a different brand names.
LMAO, I can also say that Revopoint’s hardware was bought from Shining 3D, since the scanner with tripod and turntable sets are like the EinScan S, which was released in 2015. And revopoint bought hardware from 3D systems. See the screenshot I took from Revopoint’s Chinese web.
Doesn’t it look like Sense from 3D systems?
Creality’s current scanners are all OEM from Jimuyida. But Shining 3D, I believe, is not like Creality. Shining 3D have their own hardware and software.
side note: Above talking about Revopoint buying hardware is all my guessing and non-sense talking. I don’t have any evidence, like PUTV doesn’t have any proved evidence that Shining 3D used the hardware of Revopoint. I have no offense to anyone. But I just don’t want misleading on either company. I respect both companies, and I believe they both have their own technologies, so that they don’t need to use each other’s hardware or software. I was trying to scan my joypad with my pop2 tonight. will post both data once i have time.
