if I understood correctly Revoscan 5 has much better tracking algorithm than previous versions. What is the difference against mobile application? Are there an use cases where it’s better to use PC version instead of mobile version? If yes, what are these.

Regarding quality of processing and editing then definitely PC version .
I only captured the projects on Mobile app but if you don’t have proper phone it will not works well , the tracking performance after all depends of your phone as well , processor, speed, ram
The captured raw data is the same on both … it is about how it was captured and with what .
