MetroX not recognized on the 'Revo Scan 5 MetroX 5.6.9' app at all

MetroX is not recognized on the ‘Revo Scan 5 MetroX 5.6.9’ app at all, both on my Mac and Windows computers

For Windows, I can use the newer Revo Metro app instead and It recognizes the scanner well,

But on my M4 Max (MacOS Sequoia), The old app is the only solution and It does not recognize the scanner at all. Why? I tried all of the troubleshooting, closed my Dropbox, etc.

The device is properly shown on the USB device list with the correct serial number, but the app is not able to not find the scanner.

Is there any user successfully using the scanner on MacOS Sequoia or above?

Solution that may work for you

Connect your MetroX scanner to your Windows computer :

Right click [Start] button → [Computer Managment]

Select [Device Manager] on left panel

Right click [Rockusb Device] under [Class for rockusb devices] → [Update driver]

Choose [Browse my computer for drivers], then [Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer], then click [USB Composite Device].

It may fix your issue … cost nothing for trying, also check if Revo Scan MetroX have permission under Camera privacy settings under Windows for Revo Scan MetroX and remove all permission for not used old builds.

Revo Scan MetroX will be archived soon as Revo Metro is the new replacement . The Mac version will be available in December
