Metro Y Ultra USB C extension - Data Only

Hi all,

I’d like to extend the distance between the scanner and my PC and I find the wifi option to be a bit unstable vs the wired. There is plenty of length in the overall cable unit from mains plug to scanner, but I need the usb cable going to the computer to be longer.

Any reason I can’t use a USB C extension lead on this? Or if signal is an issue, a hub purely for the scanner?

Please buy yourself a very good extension cable best thunderbolt cable with at least supporting 8GB of data and supporting fast charging . Don’t get regular cheap extension it will not works.
