Personally, I’ve only found one solution so far. I create meshes, then transfer them to the Rangevision program, since there is a function for “Removing scan borders” or in Geomagic Design X, where there is also a function for cropping or smoothing borders.
@Snakegreen we not talking about 3th part fixes , we talking about the software algorithm while capturing, there is no fix for it , unless the algorithms are adjusted the proper way.
Absolutely! As part of the test, I will try and experiment. But sometimes it really is urgently necessary to make a very good scan, then you have to use “crutches”.
The problem was not caused by fuzzy edges - they were al neatly trimmed.
Yes of course but that is not the actual subject .
I suspect the precision issue on top of the edges.
For perfect merging you need to have the best precision and accuracy available ( scanning copies ( volumes ) of the objects as closer as possible to each other)
If precision fail, they will never merge proper.
