Mode : Auto-Turntable Full Field
Simply placed the item in the center of the turntable and press Start.
Once it finished flipped it over and press Start again, its that easy.
Isolation and overlap the scan data.
It picked up more then enough details. Check out that casting line and all the pitting from rust.
Was able to quickly make a prefect fitting gasket or flange.
Decide to do a little reverse engineering.

I did 3 scans. Front top down, rear top down and quick standing scan so i was able to merge front and rear together for a complete scan.
Importing into CAD software.
Was able to create a CAD model with only 3 sketches

Another great scan and reverse engineering! BTW, which software do you use for RE?
Handles all i throw at it without problems. Ive loaded and worked with 2gb scans before. It was as smooth as a 10mb scan.
@ivan I am using an older version of Geomagic design X i got a while back for a fair price. I have no need to upgrade to the latest.
