It is ok , but if you going to scan a 6 inches size of a very detailed objects using Auto mode in color , you will run out of RAM when fusing it at 0.05mm and later processing it , the meshing and texturing use the RAM out mostly.
There are no limitations set on MetroY Pro so good amount of RAM is a must have if you want to generate high definition scans with five details.
The laser mode is less RAM hungry yet delivering very good results and details and so much faster , scanning now with the new cross laser mode is a breeze!
Mine was also in Alaska, but departed at 4:33 PM local*(8:33 here, East Coast)*. I’m not gonna hold my breath for a Friday delivery. Saying it’s a toss-up for me.

Got loaded on truck and out for delivery status… I’m only one data point but looks like no waiting for days at customs nonsense. Think Revopoint shipping from Malaysia paid off.
In NYC I worry about package theft. Scanner comes in a box showing exactly what it is. Not an issue because I tracked the ups guy down b4 he delivered it, but maybe others aren’t a package hawks like me. Love when packages come on a Friday. Should be a nice weekend. Got mine. I live rurally, UPS guy left it next to mailbox. lol I hate UPS! They usually destroy my packages, but this arrived near mint, just sitting in the weeds
