Has anybody received their MetroY , PRO, INSPIRE 2?

Yeah. Hope so too. It was meant to be the 20th. Hope they stick with this original plan that we purchased against. Shouldn’t go moving the goal posts

I know INSPIRE 2 shipping this week , this is probably due to all the carriers shipping delays , Revopoint has to switch the carrier in the latest moment for the best experience .

My MetroY Beta unit was hold 20 days by customs under UPS because they are bottlenecked due to the tarrifs . And nothing could speed it up. ( In the USA )

So give Revopoint little time to figure the best options , that was probably why they switched to Sept.29 what is Monday next week.

I expect the best way to deal with the various customs is 1 batch(pallet) at a time per region - They probably won’t ship individual orders chronologically, there would be lots of paperwork.

With so many product launches and pre-orders this year, I’m sure the staff have some considerable experience now. Hopefully things are already moving!

Just letting you know that 400.000 people were evacuated last night in Shenzhen and (East Asia) forced by Super Typhoon. So office hours was cut short .

Pre ordered new products shipping will be resumed in 2 days.

Yeah, one of my friends showed me photos from her home town tying stuff down or removing it before it hit. Pretty serious indeed. Hope all is ok.

Everything was shut down yesterday including airports . I am waiting for more info from the team but I believe they all will still working from home today like support center etc..

I’m about ready to cancel my MeteoY pro. Why does the shipping date keep getting pushed back? Revopoint isn’t contacting customers letting them know why delays are happening. Shipping dates come and go, no emails, then I check website and new shipping date no explanation.

Today I called and spoke to customer service.

Found out US orders are still coming from China………was told because product is new it’s shipped from main warehouse in China.

I asked about additional customs charges because scanner is coming from China instead of US. Was told customs charges are included.

Was also told there’s a typhoon impacting deliveries. Couldn’t someone not based in China reach out to customers through email or update the website with explanations?

Was told my specific order would ship on Friday and arrive by October 6. Call me skeptical.

The office was closed for 2 days , everything was closed in Shenzhen including airports due to Typhon. So the shipping is shifted to Friday in place of today.

If you are in the USA I am very skeptical you get your package on October 6 , thanks to the new tariffs rules the customs are very much bottlenecked and nobody can do anything about it. Unless DHL have better solution.

Recently my 3 days International Express $200 shipping turned into 20 days shipping , without one word of “ sorry “ from UPS .

However …

I would not cancel your order , because if you do you going not only lose the special price discount but also the paid import tax what in this case are over 50% from total value + shipping. Since this is only one time deal. No matter warehouse in USA or China the import taxes have to be paid one way or another.

Considering how much USA customs are bottlenecked with the packages and letters right now , shipping it to USA’s warehouses would delay it probably another month by the customs.

All of this is still worth waiting or cancel and pay all the 60% extra later ,since it is not going to be cheaper.

So for USA customers there are not 100% guarantee that anything will be delivered on time and Revopoint is not responsible for that matter but USA customs.

This may be a dumb question but does all of this apply to the inspire 2?

Everything was shut down so sadly for Inspire 2 as well . I don’t know if the office will be open today yet but nothing will move until Friday.

I am waiting for my Inspire 2 too right now.

I am a buyer from Taiwan. Although this product has a local distributor in Taiwan, I still purchased it from the international site. At the moment, it shows that the shipment will only be on the 29th.

I ordered on the 3rd September and am in the UK - had a good response from Leann after using the web-chat:

Has any1 received any updates from revopoint? I understand about the typhoon recently. (In another thread heard the china team is ok) But even when the sept 20th shipping date pasted I didn’t get an update from revopoint. Guess we inform each other. Least the mod here responds :slight_smile:

Phone support says my order should ship 9/26 and arrive by Oct 6. (Mod doubted that in another thread)

I’m in Japan. Pre ordered 9/3. No emails . No updates other than what’s in this thread. I didn’t contact support but hoping it’s shipping today.

Logistics team starting to ship packages on Friday, and they go out in batches so not everything at once.

once it ships you should get notification from the carrier to your registered email you used for pre-order.

For now there are batches prepared for Sept. 26 and 29 what is this Friday and upcoming Monday.

Despite the promise to ship today by revopoint customer service, it did not. Any1 else luckier?
