I am the proud owner of a new MetroX scanner.
my scanner came in a nice case with a well fitting compartment for all the parts.
However, I also printed extra scan marker blocks.
For these scan markers I made a storage compartment that fits in the Dual-axis turntable.

Thank you. I printed one up last night and it’s awesome. The fit was a little tight, probably due to my support settings and glue-up job. A couple seconds of knocking down the high points and it slides in easy enough and stays in place. I would have preferred a version that printed flat, so without the bevel around the front edge, and it looks like there would be room for two trays if the covered part only extended to the center of the turntable. Any chance you can upload the .step file as well? Regardless, I think it’s a great addition.

I have designed the storage compartment so that the laser glasses can go on the other side and the storage compartment is as large as possible.
