Revopoint Dual Turntable - Mounting Plate Add-on

Hi everyone,

I’m excited to share my latest creation with you: CircusMod. The name came to me because the color scheme reminded me of a circus tent.

This plate offers you maximum flexibility thanks to its integrated slots. With it, you can easily and quickly mount clamping systems, marker towers, and other components.

Why CircusMod?
Every scan object is different, and you often have to rearrange your setup to accommodate it. CircusMod lets you adapt your workspace much faster and more flexibly. The first version is working great and has been in use with my other scanning systems for quite a while. Additionally, I’ve increased the surface area to 300mm in diameter, making it even more versatile for larger setups.

Future Plans:
I’m planning to design and release a lot of accessories to make CircusMod even more versatile.

Your Feedback Matters!
I’m looking forward to your constructive ideas and criticism to help improve the mounting plate even further.

Thanks, and enjoy testing it out!
Looking forward to hearing from you.

@Enggraph I had a similar idea of adding a larger 3D printed disc onto the existing turntable and use the existing mounting screws, and sink in some recesses for marker dots, but as I was underwhelmed by the tripod mount that holds the Metrox, my first priority after printing markers pieces, was make a snap in tripod mount.

I think the idea has merit, maybe use some simple Tee slot low mount adaptors, or stalks so you can get the underside of the scanned object in one hit?

Good luck with your project
Mike
