Here is a location to find the list of parts for the Slider and some other information for those who have asked me via the forum, youtube or facebook.
next week I must add the version with the plexiglass plates at the CNC, you can download the DXF file there.
THX A LOT for sharing!!
Hello! I just wanted to thank you for sharing. Thanks to you this summer I started a modest project that I finally finished due to the lack of some details. Finally I decided on a model with manual control, since I will wait to implement automation when the operation of the scanner can also be controlled. I’m using the google translator in case there is something that is not understood…
I have used an arduino mega, with two TB6600 drivers, an infrared sensor to control the turntable, two 1 meter aluminum profiles (which I can disassemble) and a 3.2" touch screen from the Stone brand, and many hours of tests , frustration and fun It’s been a long time since I did anything with arduino, so my program is far from being very optimized, but it works very well for me.
Thanks again for sharing, you have inspired me.
(At the moment, it only allows me to upload a photo to the forum)
Excuse the quality of the video, it is difficult to record with one hand
Thx for sharing and showing! Looking forward to example videos with a real person beeing scanned
Hello, Thanks for sharing, very good idea to create variations of the POP slider. sorry if you didn’t have all the information… very little time to take care of the POP at the moment… what did you miss, for it to be automatic ?
I hear the noise of your Nema, the voltage of the drivers is it correct ?
Hello, thanks to you for providing the design, it simplified my work a lot, the hardest thing of all is to have free time for these things, take advantage of a few days of vacation for this project.
For the version in automatic mode, I would like to be able to control the start and stop / pause of the Pop, without having to do it manually like now.
If they make noise, possibly because I have them configured at 800 steps, I still have to find the balance between steps and torque. The motor that raises the whole set is configured with the TB6600 driver, 1-1.2 A and the other motor at 0.5 - 0.7. I also need to adjust the acceleration, I have noticed that increasing it improves the sound. The motors are powered by a 12v 5A source.
Thank you for your comments .
(Excuse my English, I’m using google translator)
Hello, for the play/stop control I will make a system with a (servo motor SG90) controlled by the card.
This setup should take into account that the button activation pressure is rather high. You should brace the front as well as the rear of the scanner and squeeze them together. Otherwise, the required activation pressure on the off-center location of the Start/Pause button could rotate the scanner around its mounting axis.
EN:
design to start reading and stopping the scan using the Gcode directly, which makes it easier to no longer have to click on play / stop the scan in several stages.
FR :
conception pour mettre en route la lecture et l’arret du scan à l’aide du Gcode directement, ce qui permet de ne plus à avoir à cliquer sur play/stop le scan en plusieurs etapes est ainsi facilité.
Right now one click do the whole process via the software anyway so what’s new?
You still need to perform one click to start the code ?
I am looking for solution to activate the play button via the build in Bluetooth!
Hello,
Thank you very much to all for all this work
I am a new beginner and I had the chance to participate in the KS Revopoint Range. If I had known that it was already possible to scan a body with the POP, maybe I would have invested in it instead because I have a use between 2 types of objects: small and medium-large. I would have liked to know if such a device could be adapted to the use of the Range? Thanks again !
I do not see a reason why the Range would not work with the DIY Slider. I think the Range should work better then the Pop2 on the DIY Slider, but I have not yet tried it.
I done some remakes for this project
•Change the scanner attachment
•add endstop to prevent any trouble with bad gcode
Homing at statup and macro to have the touch screen at human height
•fully integration of MKS dlc32 and screen (only long cable for 12v socket ) can stop via wifi or switch on socket
Can you post your files?
When i printed and tested all for sure
There is a full Nema 17 version on the site https://3d-free.fr/
