My experience with other scanners shows that it is very convenient to delete “bad and superfluous” data before the Fusion stage. This allows you to remove debris when you lose a track and re-scan the problem area.

Yes but right now raw editing of scans scanned using Laser mode is not available yet.
Hopefully sooner than later, as there are many other reason you want to delete bad data before fusing as well .

Just seconding that being able to edit/isolate on the raw data before fusion in parallel line scan mode on the inspire 2 would be useful.

You mean in laser mode , because you can do it after scanning with NIR Full Field with Inspire 2 or Auto mode or Full Field using MetroY Pro.

Yes exactly, that’s what I mean by parallel line scan mode as it’s called in the software.

Editing raw files after using laser mode is right now impossible.
Only after scanning using Full Field mode at this moment
