Connection Revopoint mini 2 with redmi

Hello,

I would like your advice on how to connect my Revopoint mini 2 scanner to my Redmi note 13 smartphone.
My scanner is recognized by my PC but when I connect it to my phone, the blue light comes on for a few moments and a message appears telling me that the scanner is disconnected.
I’ve just reset my phone, thinking it might be at fault, but it’s still the case after that.
I use the Y cable to connect the mobile battery, smartphone and scanner.
Do you have any idea what’s wrong?

I would suggest you try the wifi connection, that should work well.
I myself had many problems with cable connection on some USB3 ports randomly, but since one of the updates it is fixed since then.

If you need cable connection you should reach out to Customer Service. Normally they are fast and constructive.

Hope you’ll get it going!

Thank you very much!
I tried the wifi connection which is a bit of a pain.
I’m getting an erratic signal even though I’m next to my server.
So I prefer this cable connection.
I will contact customer service.
Thanks for your help!
François

Try another mode. You are able to set your Mini2 as Access point and connect the phone directly to the scanner. This worked for me everytime on first try and makes scanning really convenient because all you need is powerbank with cable to scanner and no other wires. I never ever connected mini to my wlan router because it’s not necessary.
Just give it a shot.

I’ve changed the information in the scanner settings.
Do I have to go back to the initial setting?
If so, what is it, as I didn’t write it down.

Change your mode to Host
So the Mini will act as a HotSpot. You can then connect your phone to your mini’s Hotspot and you’re good to go

Basic Settings:

WiFi Settings:

You can directly connect your Phone then:

And use it right away.

I have only the Range, because i sold my mini but both behave the same. Let me know if it works for you.
