One of my Rhino 3D students is restoring an old American car and needs to have some new chrome metal badges made.

We scanned the chrome plated badge using my MIRACO Plus and scanning spray, then I showed him how to import the 3D scan into Rhino and create a CNC ready file !

Simple project, but a great introduction to 3D scanning to 3D Model.

That’s awesome! My daughter is a huge train fan — she knows all the models I can’t even keep straight. I’m thinking about scanning some and then making them with 3D filament.
