Background lighting

I have the MetroY Pro model. I’m new to the 3D scanning world.
I’m having trouble getting the scan range within the Good to Excellent category, using the turntable and tripod.

Does background lighting affect scan results?

The background lighting don’t affect the scanning as long it is not a window lighting or direct sun .

If you set the scanner on a tripod and set the range to the middle it will be ok , unless the object is long and change distance try to adjust the level of the scanner at 45 degrees

Don’t use tripod with Laser mode , only Full Field and Auto mode .
