I’ve used it on my M1. It works fine. The windows version seems to be a bit more refined and is my preference as far as computers go. The Mac version doesn’t include handy studio, which kinda stinks for those of us that prefer to stay in the Mac universe.
The AppStore version of HandyScan software actually runs under Intel-emulation (aka Rosetta 2), so no it is not optimized for Apple Silicon (M1, M1 Pro, or M1 Max).
I had „Skanect“ for the Xbox Kinect sensor. It worked so much better with a good GPU. So I would assume the M1 would give the Pop software a huge boost.
A matured software seems to be the No. 1 critique in the reviews on YouTube I’ve seen. Let’s hope the team has a native ARM Version high on their priority list.
