Hello everyone, thank you for your enthusiastic applications. We have sent the license codes for the 3-month trial and the 30-day trial to selected users via forum chat. Please check your chat for the codes.
If you’re interested in trying the 30-day trial, send me a Direct Message.
Thank you again for your active participation!
Attention Reverse Engineering Professionals: A Chance to Get a 3-Month Trial of QuickSurface!
Hello everyone! We are excited to announce our collaboration with QuickSurface, an efficient 3D reverse engineering software designed to offer simple and powerful solutions, from 3D scanning to CAD. Its easy-to-use tools offer faster reverse engineering solutions, streamlining your 3D workflows.
This recruitment focuses on reverse engineering applications of QuickSurface and Revopoint scanners, including but not limited to these application scenarios.
Software Trial Duration:
Three months: 5 users.
30 days: unlimited.
During the testing period, you will have full access to all of QuickSurface’s features.
We will prioritize users with expertise in 3D reverse engineering and provide them with a three-month access period. Please actively showcase your reverse engineering-related projects to us.
What You Need to Do:
Users with 3-month trial access: Share a complete project in the community within two weeks of receiving the License code, showcasing the process of scanning with the Revopoint scanner to obtain the raw model and completing CAD modeling in Quicksurface.
Users with 30-day trial access: Voluntarily share your projects and suggestions.
Recruitment Schedule: From 25th June - 30th June
Revopoint won’t be sharing the recruited individuals publicly.
Applying for this opportunity means that you have agreed to our Terms and Conditions
Don’t you get a free 30 day trail just by going to QuickSurface’s website and giving them your email address?
With that said, I am super excited that RevoPoint will be working with QuickSurface to hopefully provide a less expensive reverse engineering tool that what is currently available. I know QuickSurface just came out with a “lite” version, but at $450/year, I still feel that is too expensive for most hobbyist. If that was a perpetual license, then I think that is a more fair price. I for one hate the “rent as you go” software model.
Wouldn’t it be better to simply say you can apply to get a 3 month License in exchange for creating free content and advertising material for both revopoint and quicksurface?
ANYONE can get a 30 day trial.
Solidworks offers a cheaper solution at $38 per year. And that includes 3d tool path generation for Cnc machines.
Ok,
what is the cooperaion exactly?
Why are we talking about software testers?
QuickSurface doesn’t need software testers - it’s already working, and it’s already released.
Will you incorporate some of QuickSurface features into Revo Studio?
Are you developing a bridge of sort from Revo Studio to QuickSurface?
What exactly are we supposed to test?
From what you wrote it seems that you’re just telling us that QuickSurface exists and we can play with it if we want.
Yeah, we know.
Everyone who wanted to reverse engineer something already knows about QuickSurface and most likely already took it for a 30 day test drive.
I really don’t understand the point of this post - it’s confusing :o
I’d just buy a plasticity license. They are slowly introducing reverse engineering items. I’m testing the features on the beta. Surface building by clicking faces/vertices feature called constrained surface, and 3 point circles etc.
I don’t think it’ll be long before intersection of the mesh comes in as well to create intersection curves to rebuild into lines etc.
