WANT TO AVOID HAVING TO PLUG/UNPLUG THE POP 4’S USB-C 3 CABLE FROM THE COMPUTER TO TURN THE SCANNER ON/OFF. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A USB-C 3.0 INTERFACE CABLE WITH ON/OFF SWITCH THAT MEETS THE POWER AND DATA REQUIREMENTS OF THE POP 4?

Buy yourself an powered USB C hub on Amazon , that is not only better for your computer USB ports but also better support the scanners . Best the one that have the On Off switch for each port .
Do not leave the scanner connected , you going to shorter the life of the component and your USB port will degenerate faster. And until then disconnect the cable from the scanner rather than the computer USB port.
