Would you also please add the Space Pilot 3D Connexion. Unfortunately I can only use it to a limited extent

Hello Jane,

thank you for your quick reply. The Space pilot from 3d connexion is an older model. But it still works well. I can use it with Fusion 360 without any problems but unfortunately not with Revo scan 5.6.3 Metrox. The Space Explorer from 3d connexion works great with 5.6.3. Attached you can find some pictures of it.

Any serious 3D software would be well advised to support the 3D mouse. I use the Space Mouse Enterprise and the Space Mouse Compact from 3DConnexion for Autodesk Fusion, Blender, and Bambu Studio. All of them support the 3D mouse, and I couldnā€™t work without it. In Revoscan, most of the time is lost during post-processing, and in this case, rotating the object with the mouse. Besides, the fact that competitor doesnā€™t yet support it should be a huge incentive to demonstrate how to do it properly.

Just turn it on and it should work jist fine in Revoscan.
However Revoscan MetroX. Last i checked did not have support for it

RevoScanMetroX users said it working just fine in 5.6.5 and better than ever before, including Merge tab .

Maybe depends on the type

Ok just check and yes in 5.6.5 its work.
I know it was not in the older one.

And mine is the small knob only one.
And does not work on the merge tab for me

I use 3dconnexion enterprise on a win10 computer and a 3dconnexion spacemouse compact on a win11 computer. Both work with revoscan 5 and revoscan5 X, but unfortunately neither program works in the merge tab, programs and driver are uptodate.

Just want to report that my SpaceMouse Wirless does not work on Revo Scan 5 MetroX. Disappointing because it would be great in this software. Is this support coming? Iā€™ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting and power-cycling the mouse. No luck.

Can you explain why it donā€™t works ? You mean it works just fine until you open Revo MetroX and then it disconnect completely ?
Or it just donā€™t works ( functions ) at all ?

Did you tried Revo Metro the new software to use with your MetroX scanner?

Can you share your experiences with that ?

And yes R&D team will look into it but rather in Revo Metro since the other software is about to be archived soon .

Works fine in windows 11 x64 using Fusion 360 - but it does not respond at all in the latest version of Revo Scan 5 MetroX.

I am using latest drivers from 3d connexion and latest version of Scan 5 MetroX

Revo Scan MetroX will be no more updated since Revo Metro is the new software that will handle MetroX scanner and is already available .

The R&D team got informed about the issue with the Spacemouse , I donā€™t think this one was supported yet . They are looking into it

Mine is the wired version and works great in latest version. It didnā€™t in the previous though and I think it is because I had revoscan metrox installed before getting the space mouse. I then uninstalled revoscan and deleted folders, then installed it again and the mouse worked. So try uninstalling revoscan and looking for the extra folders and then reinstall it.
