Will the full spec listing and price for Pop 4 be available before the Metro Y Ultra preorder discount ends? I’m in the market for one, I can afford the Metro Y Ultra but my gut tells me the Pop 4 might be the better value for my needs.

What comes in the box with Pop 4?

Is there a discounted bundle for either scanner with Revo Design?

Which would be your recommendation for a scanner for basic reverse engineering and scanning objects for 3d printing, where total precision is not required and speed is not really a concern.

Final question, is either scanner suitable for scanning tiny miniatures for board gaming, about 1 inch in height for 3d printing?

Will the ball plate be sold and compatible with other Metro scanners, or will this be limited by software?

When will you implement the color mode for all five Y Pro scanner modes, as promised at launch?

Seeing as Pop4 will implement gaussian splatting, will we finally get a better color sensor than the old 2mp one that has been used with every single scanner for the last 5 years?

Here are my questions:

  1. Does POP 4’s AI-powered targeting support selecting multiple separate target areas in real time, or only one continuous region at a time?

  2. Does POP 4 include 9-axis IMU positional tracking like the POP 3 Plus?

  3. Does POP 4 have onboard tactile/physical buttons, and what functions can be controlled directly from the scanner?

  4. Since POP 4 is promoted for outdoor scanning, will there be any official lens protection, dust cover, or outdoor accessory to protect the optics?

Hi Filip , the RGB sensor is not the problem , the problem is how to make it fast enough to works while scanning , a problem that is not solved yet .

Regarding POP4 , I don’t had any briefing yet to answer you exactly and it is still WIP.
