One of our techs at work has a prosthetic leg. I scanned it to begin making a modified calf for him to better match his other leg. Captured on a MetroY Pro

I am new to Revopoint, but I previously worked in the metrology division of the German company ZEISS. I am familar with products of formally known as GOM, Steinbichler and ZEISS. My academic background is also fully focused on this field. As a result, I bring extensive experience in scanning technologies, GD&T, and tactile measurement methods.
Today I received a METRO X scanner to experiment with for my 3D‑printing projects. I would be very interested in testing additional or upcoming scanners as well. Given my professional background, I believe my expertise could be valuable for you.
If you want to get professional feedback. I would be happy to join the testers group.
Post a scan and use the #POP4BetaProject tag to get a chance ( I know what your reply to me might sound like, but you should know why I am telling you to do it anyways )
Hi @florianm
The invitation is for people that are familiar and know well how to use the software and how Revopoint scanners works.
Please post your best scan you made using the software and Revopoint scanner with the #.
If you are chosen you will need to provide the project file as well for verification.
Your background is great but Revopoint is looking for Your scanning results and by that you will be judged exclusively.
Good luck!

I don’t have a specific scan that I can say is my best work, but my Inspire 2 “review” video features my favorite 3D scanning project that I’ve ever done. It’s a 1/4 scale diorama of my favorite corner of my dorm room during my college days over 20 years ago. It features a dresser complete with a PS2, a working CRT TV, VCR, and other items that were all scanned and then printed a 1/4 scale. You can watch my video here: https://youtu.be/jMJ9_DMS6Ek
Below is a screen grab from the video.
Here is a 3D scan taken with the MetroX of a replica of the so-called “Bust of Caesar.” I own several scanners—Revopoint, Pop 2, Mini, min, Range, Inspire, Miraco Pro, and MetroX—and I really like them. I'd be happy to test the Pop 4.
