Will the Revopoint INSPIRE 2 do what I want it for?

I am a middle school teacher, grades 6th-8th. I teach computer apps and technology, as I write this, one of the 3D printers, a Flashforge AD5X, is churning away in the background (Note: the printers came out of my pocket, but the school pays for filament for student projects).

This year, I have some money from the district budget, and I am considering the Revopoint INSPIRE 2.

What the art teacher and I want is to be able to scan the student’s head & shoulder’s and then print out a ~6” bust. The student would then paint the bust in art class.

Other things, beyond the Revopoint INSPIRE 2, that I expect to need are a full-size heavy tripod and a spinning chair. If background things become a problem, I have a Green-Screen that I can use.

Will the Revopoint INSPIRE 2 work for this?

As a bit of an aside, what size Pelican case does it work best with?

Yes that will be a perfect scanner for you for this purposes and in a budged ! Highly recommend as that is my favorite to go scanner at this moment and fantastic for this type of work.

Doing chair will do the job as well , and you don’t need tripod , it is better to hold it in your hand while the subject is rotating slowly .

The background will not take problem as you can set the distance in the software ( range distance ) to eliminate the background behind .

Please use only Full Field mode with people and not infrared laser mode .
