I ordered the MetroX w/ the large turntable. Nice device. Seems well built. It connects via bluetooth to a phone, so I assume it has the hardware to connect to the computer too. Will this happen soon? The lack of turntable control is making using it difficult.
Won’t do full field auto mode for example and I have to switch to the small TT for that.
The big turntable can’t be a part of the MetroX Auto mode , neither Full Field can have an Auto mode because Auto mode is s total different scanning mode method compared to Full Field . They are not the same.
So for now you will have to use it the way it is , manually .
I just got an info from my team saying that you can connect the Big Turntable and use with Auto Model and MetroX
The only thing you can’t do is the tilt angles fir obvious reason.
is there a software patch to allow this, because currently it can’t, leastwise, no way I can figure out
You just connect it the same way as the DAT turntable to the software .That what the team told me yesterday as I did not do it myself.
I will check exactly later this evening.
It should works just fine with the latest Revo Scan MetroX version.
I tried that, it does not seem to have any way to connect
Its in the Accessories drop-down along with the dual-axis. It seems to only be detectable for pairing/connection for a short time after powering up but I’m still investigating that. Otherwise seems to work but I’ve only started an auto scan to see if it moves, not completed a scan.

I got it to work.
unplugged the TT
plugged it back in
fired up the RP connection for large TT
Waited about 30 sec while the TT homed
it showed ‘connect’, hit that, after a few sec it connected
Save.
Tested and it works!
