The dual-axis turntable will soon be controllable again through a specific sequence that can be programmed. You should definitely adjust the firmware. Specifically, the turntable should be able to connect to the PC as a Bluetooth keyboard, then by pressing the space bar, one can make a recording with RevoScan. This way, the turntable can be moved in certain sequences and pause to trigger a single capture.

I would also like to point out here again that since the new scanner is just being released, please also include it for the old scanners so that the turn tablet makes sense.

I was experimenting with my Inspire and though I would try a “fake” version.
Just turning by hand and using the snapshot feature. It worked quite well. Not nearly as nice as the auto setup, but it was interesting.
I will be getting the dual axis table with the metrox. I would like the option to use it with the inspire as well.

We have discussed this feature with the R&D team. They will consider adding this feature in future versions of RevoScan 5 to accommodate our other scanners. Thank you!
Maybe also consider to integrate into miraco! That would be a nice unique outstanding feature, e.g. vs. Enstar or Veega.
