Weird circle like a marker where there was none

Where is this weird circle coming from and how do I stop it? It acts like a marker, but there was no marker anywhere near here.

That must be a glitch while fusing , check your point cloud before meshing .
Sometimes it happens to me too.

It was a false marker in the global marker scan, but no marker there. ???

When I went to do the next scan I hadn’t moved anything so I reused the global markers and saw it hanging up there in space where there was no marker.

I’ve switched over to using Miraco Plus to create global marker files and importing them for MetroX scans. MetroX hasn’t been reliable enough for me in marker detection. That at least keeps false markers from showing up in fused geometry.

Yes that what it was, sometimes it happens. The marker was falsely recorded out of space. I had this happening couple of time as well .
This bug was reported .
You will need to record a new global markers.

why is there not a way to select an erroneous marker in global markers and delete it?

Because that’s not editable mesh.
But you can post your suggestion under Feedback and Suggestion in the forum.

For now it will reminds as a bug, because things like that should not happen.

It has been reported.
This is a phantom marker - either invalid global marker cloud, or if you were using normal marker mode, it s possible that a circular highlight was mistaken for a marker.
This happens and should not be a problem.
What is the problem is the fact that Revoscan always replaces recognized markers with these disks - there needs to be a way of disabling this feature - this would fix a lot of problems with MetroX scans

When using Global or normal markets mode , sometimes the software my register a floating marker that is not in its original position.
Not happening always but sometimes even if the sensor by mistake register a reflection on the surface as a marker.
Of course it is a bug and was reported .

The conversion of markers into the disks can be sometimes really annoying and I don’t like it either to be honest.
I strongly suggest to post it under Feedback and Suggestions in the forum.
