This is what I bought my Minis for: archaeological illustration

With a lot of practice and a steep learning curve, I finally achieved my goal of using 3D-Model of prehistoric pottery for archaeological illustration.
There is a freeware called Gigamesh for creating cross sections, unrolling surfaces and rendering 2D-views.
Personally spoken, Mini 2 was a real gamechanger for me because af his bigger FOV. Only the tracking and merging functions could be better. Also the synchronization of the DATT with scan/pause in the new Revoscan is very helpful.
