Hi., is there a way to disable selecting back facing points with the selection tools? If not, can we get this feature? Another small request, since we can not rotate while using the selection tools, how about adding shift + right mouse button to rotate in these modes?

Ah, I did find it in the menu Display → Enable Select Through. would be nice if this was somewhere near the selection tools.
You can also rotate while using selection or any other tool , the options for the shortcuts are on the screen in the middle too.
It is under the selection tool, it is an icon half black half white. It will active the selection for the normals.
Please read the software manual to learn about all tools and options available , save some time in place of guessing , however I love the hard way , you learn faster
