Has anyone any tips for scanning a surfboard

Hi, a surfboard is an object with no distinctive features. We suggest you place some marker points on it and scan it using marker mode.
In order to capture the bottom of the object, you can either pad it up or hang it with a wire for easy scanning. Or you can scan two parts and get two models and merge them in Revo Scan 5.

It will depends if what scanner you are using , but in this case you need to use marker mode or global marker mode.

Try to use the body settings so you will need less markers , place them around 7 cm apart in unique pattern. Making sure at least 4-5 of them are visible in each frame while scanning and also place some on the edges .
