Scanning a car body with Miraco Plus PMK

Today followed some of you advice.

No additional light sorce
Tool 100 pictures to record the makers
Scanned in one go, no fusion
Monitored distance
Scanned longer

Result is better, I guess

The positions where the coded targets are still show as a bumps.

Is this normal? Can this bumps be removed ?

I see you getting better and sharper results already .

You can use the smoothing brush tool to remove the bumps or using any other 3D software editor but if you going to make reverse reconstruction you can ignore it .

Looks like you have fill holes turned on, with some large openings being filled with weird geometry. That can skew your perception of the scan as a whole (ha!).

Yes that’s a good point here , for reverse engraving no holes should filled automatic .

Even closing holes after markers is better to do manually after meshing and use the specific option , flat or curvy
