Uncut 3D Scan – Boss 302 Intake Manifold with the Revopoint POP 4
In this video I perform a full, uncut scan of a late‑model Boss 302 intake manifold using the Revopoint POP 4 3D scanner. You’ll see the entire process from setup to final capture — including how I work around the tall runner geometry, maintain tracking across deep recesses, and deal with the manifold’s complex plastic surfaces. The goal is to show real‑world performance, not a polished demo, so you can evaluate how the POP 4 handles large, irregular automotive components.
If you’re into 3D scanning, reverse engineering, or performance engine design, this is a great example of how the POP 4 can capture intake manifolds and other engine parts for digital modeling or inspection. I keep the video uncut so you can observe every reposition, rescan, and workflow decision in real time.
