I have a revopoint miraco and the photogrammetric metrology kit. I am scanning a very large vehicle and have run out of the 208 coded markers only covering half at the recommended spacing.
How do I get around the fact the coded marker sets only go up to 208? presumably that’s the maximum permutations that the glyphs can represent?

How large is your vehicle exactly? 
Combining all coded markers with plain makers inbetween covers quite some surface.
Please also check also this thread with some visual examples, maybe there are some helpful inputs.

Is there anything preventing you from scanning sections with enough overlapping area for merging them later?
I don’t know what encoding system the miraco uses but i would imagine at 208 its 8 bit with some other padding i used to be able to use 16 bit encoding and I could just select that
