Hi All, I have scanned in an object several times,combined the scans and I can see a pretty decent complete model.
When I export the model as an STL part of the bottom is missing, but its there on the combined scan image.
Is there something I should be checking? Keen to get this issue fixed.

What do you exporting exactly , is that merged final model selected in the right side of the menu and already meshed ? Or you trying to export point cloud ?
Make sure your final merged model is selected, it is impossible that model is missing any parts after export , unless your import software flipped the bottom normals , try to export in obj format and check out if it is correct .
I never experienced it before , so something here is not right.
You can share screenshots of the software with the merged model selected for a reference
Remember you need to merge only fused point cloud that are edited proper before merge , edited meshed scans will not merge just to be clear.
