Open project in RevoMetro V5.8.5 MacOS

How can I open an existing project in RevoMetro? I’m on the Homepage and there is no “open project” command. For now I have to open any project to get to the menu “open project”; this looks very strange to me. Is this as designed? BTW, the existing projects are from the older software Revo Metro X.

Cheers

Rainer

Hi @box

Just click New Projects and open your project from menu in the main software.
Or open your project direct from the folder where you saved it.

The home page is a different tab than the main software , it includes just a history of early open project and not actual library of one location.

From a usability perspective, the home page should provide a direct option to open an existing project.

The history section works well, and creating a new project is also fine. However, having to create a new project first in order to open an existing one is poor workflow design. When using this approach, I am forced to delete the newly created project afterwards, which is unnecessary and inefficient.

Please add an option on the home page to open existing projects directly.

Hi @box

I do agree with you but you still will have to search the location yourself so nothing really will change or make it faster , the fastest way is still to open it directly from its original location .

I will forward your feedback to the team.

Thanks. I know even little things need time.

You used to be able to open from the home page a long time ago and they removed it. :person_shrugging:

Not in Revo Metro …

There were more stuff that I still missing and can’t get back for years now , we need a "Complaining thread "

Yeah I guess not, it was removed before Metro forked off from RevoScan I suppose.

I may start one soon so I stop dropping one-liners in everyone else’s posts.
