Using with MacOS Tahoe on Mac Studio M1 Max

  • cannot create 3DGS from a merged model
  • Cannot use segmentation with laser scans
  • Segmentation yields lower (much lower) quality scans than without
  • Software on MacOs does not follow mac interface guidelines for many actions. For example, when creating a new group, the name field is not active for keyboard input; you need to click inside the field and when finished, hitting the enter key does not close the dialog. Exporting to a specific folder, next time Revo does not remember the folder; always revert to desktop folder. And so on; very poor MacOs implementation.
