With 65 millions of polygons you needs lots of RAM .
On top that scan will be not usable outside the software so need to be simplified before export to at least 35 millions or less.

I’m testing the scanner  I don’t need the scan of this backpack itself. It was interesting to try dark gray and see how many polygons you can squeeze out of it. Well, what kind of detail to get., the fabric is well suited for this.

That’s no problem , it’s good to see where you can go and discover the possibilities it offers.

Remember to post fully finished scans in the showcase section of the forum , that also include reverse engineering scans. Showing off your skills .

For testing you can use the discussion section.

Unfortunately, I can publish very little of my work. NDA, you know.

@PUTV - I’ve always wanted to ask—why publish examples of scanned objects? What’s the motivation for the authors? The motivation for the scanner manufacturer to provide such a platform is clear: advertising and increasing loyalty. But what’s in it for users who help promote others’ products for free?

At least send a couple of sheets of markers in return :))

Community, sharing is caring and inspiring , plus great skilled community users getting free scanners when they are chosen as beta users or testers based on their 3D scanning skills and community activities.

Personally I enjoy checking out others people work and scans.

Well, it’s not a sin to buy a good scanner. I trust my intuition, she told me, “Take the Subway!X” But I would love to help the developers improve the program!
