Metro Y Ultra, very noisy edges

I am having some issues with extreme noise on sharp edges. To be honest, it’s probably some setting I have wrong. Any suggestions on avoiding this?

the material was matte grey plastic

Hi @NickS

The noises should be easy removed after using Isolation and Overlapped points cleaning , when you try Overlapped points shift the % up and down to catch as much as you can , after meshing you can catch the rest of it using Isolation under Meshing tab options .

Noises usually form if there is not enough frames captured, missing data on the edges or micro reflections on the edges .

You can also use reverse selection under the tools and remove att the brows noises .

It can happen and that is completely normal
Try to get at least 20.000 frames of the object to separate the noise from actual object it will be easier to clean after .

Use matting; third-party cloud-building programs can handle this problem quite effectively. Unfortunately, the noise filtering in Revo Metro is completely inadequate.
