Marker tracking always better?

Observed this when playing with my new POP3. Distance was set at the “excellent” range in both cases, the features ( outline of the eyes of the bust ) seems to be more well-defined in marker-tracking mode. Is this always the case ?

H @new23d actually it should not , unless you changed the angle of the scanner , the pattern is always projected the same way , so if you don’t changed the position of the object or scanner you should have the same results at the same distance .

Assuming you used exactly the same fusing and meshing settings .

I will check to see if that is really the case and if there is s bug it something else .

Thanks for sharing !
