Impossible to connect to mobile device MetroY PRO

Hi Everybody,

I bought a MetroY PRO.

I tried to make it work with both iOS and Android (actually I tried 2 iPhones and 2 Samsungs’ phones).

The only thing I achieved once in the app, was jumping back and forth from to app to the settings and viceversa.

I followed the in-app instructions, but there was no way to see the scanner in the app.

The phones are connecting to the scanner’s wifi.

On both systems, I was using the latest operating system (iOS 26.2.1 and Android 16).

I am sending the scanner back because scanning with a mobile device is mandatory for me.

Does anybody had the same issue?

If yes how did you solve?

The app version is 5.4.2.

the courier will pick it up in the next days is really appreciated.

Hi Antonio,

You can use MetroY Pro only via your computer and android app called Revo Mirror but only in combination.

It was not designed to run on a mobile device on its own , it needs a lot of performance power to do so , for that reason you can’t use it on any mobile device standalone .

You can use it wireless via Revo Metro software on your computer , or you can add android app called Revo Mirror to mirror the computer to your phone while scanning.
