My RevoPoint POP3 Plus is connected to my computer, and after clicking “New project,” I select “Global Marker Tracking” from the right-hand side. Then, under the “Global Marker” menu on the left, I click “New Scan,” and the markers appear on the screen. However, when I click “Scan,” the markers disappear, and “Total Global Markers” shows as 0 at the bottom. I don’t understand where I’m going wrong. As a result, I couldn’t create an mkf file. I also don’t have a file that handles imports.I would appreciate it if someone could explain it step-by-step. software version: 5.5.4
I’m doing exactly what’s shown in the video. If you look closely at the photos, you’ll see the markers before I start the scan. But when I start the scan, the markers disappear.
First of all you can’t use the marker mat to capture Global Markers , markers need to be stick to a hard surface no plastic sheets like that mat, because it is moving and is not flat and it will never works .
To be honest I have no idea why they disappeared, I never had issues capturing them like that , or came across issue like that.

P.S
I hope you don’t have issues scanning using regular markers mode , because if you do , you need to recalibrate your scanner as well.
I solved the problem. I installed the old version, 5.4.12. I performed the necessary steps in this version, and this time there were no issues. I scanned both the scanning mat and the turntable and created the mkf files. Then I upgraded to version 5.5.4, and I can now use the mkf files I saved earlier. Since I installed the update on top of 5.4.12 without uninstalling it, 5.5.4 recognized the mkf files directly. So the problem was with version 5.5.4.
I don’t know exactly what happened, but I don’t have that issue with 5.5.4 , maybe because I calibrate always my scanners after firmware or new versions updates.
Calibrated scanners in the latest versions should be not used with older version , just for your info.
Remember if the plastic mat was not flat enough while you captured the Global Markers, it may not working later if any of the markets changed position in space even slightly . They may be missed while scanning .
The markers scanned from the turntable plate usually works for some time without issue .
Glad to hear you found your way and make it work the unconventional way .
